Questions and answers

A short guide to how Alive Album works.

For clients and guests

Does my client need to sign up?

No. The client opens the link, marks frames with hearts, and downloads them. The album can be viewed on a computer and on a smartphone alike.

What is a digital album (book)?

An album that is leafed through like a book: from one shoot or from frames of several albums.

Can wedding guests add their own photos?

Yes, through the Telegram bot with the album code, if your plan includes it.

Plans, payment, and space

Is the free plan really free forever?

Yes, with no time limit. More space and features can be purchased when you need them.

What happens if I miss a monthly payment?

A reminder arrives on the 10th, and payment is due by the 17th. On the 18th the account returns to Free. Your files are not deleted.

What if I run out of space?

You can add disk space: every 100 GB costs $4 a month, or $6 with backup. Deleted items stay in the trash and take space too.

What is backup?

A second copy, in another region, of the albums you choose, with restore. It costs half the plan price.

Security and sign-in

Can I keep an album away from strangers?

Yes: a password on the album, separate access codes for groups of guests, and a watermark. Client albums never appear in Google.

How do I sign in?

There is no password: a one-time code arrives by email.

Phone and travel

Do you have an app?

Alive Album installs on your phone home screen without the App Store or Google Play. From the phone you can create albums, upload photos, create books (digital albums), and share links.

I am not a photographer, I am going on holiday. Will it work for me?

Yes. A trip album needs no account: an email, a name, and a term of 7, 14, or 30 days.
